Yesterday (28th) we arrived in Kyoto at about 20.30. Took the subway and train to our hostel and had some late dinner. Then it was bedtime!
Day 2!
Today we went to 3 big sightseeing attractions. The Silver temple, the golden temple and the Imperial Palace park.
The silver temple
This is the smaller of the two temples we visited, but a beautiful sight none the less. The sight consisted of a pond, with the Silver temple next to it. A small park with beautiful nature also surrounded the main temple building. I can try and describe how it looks, but a picture tells a 1000 words. The park was also arranged in such a matter that you could get multiple good photograph opportunities of the main temple. Which I utilized very well.
The golden temple
The same story as the silver temple, but only bigger and more sparkles! It had a pond with the temple next to it. Also a lot of beautiful nature around the main complex and of course a lot of omiyage(gift) shops.
I also bought some gifts here!
The imperial palace garden
As the title suggest, this is a garden. Or more an open park to be precise. In the middle there is a big gate which surrounds the palace and some minor buildings. You can walk around it, but we couldn't enter.

Prachtig zeg, wat maak je toch een geweldige tijd mee daar. Het ski-gebied zag er ook goed uit trouwens
